- This 8000-3C is designed for fast, high-volume testing, inspection, and transfer of devices presented in stackable JEDEC trays, reaching production rates of 7200 UPH (units per hour), depending on options.

The Model 8000-3C can accommodate 1 to 128 test sites, and is ready for laser marking and top side, 2D, and 3D inspection.

The handler pictured features two JEDEC tray stackers, which hold up to 40 input/output trays per stack; one single JEDEC reject tray; a 360° rotating pickup head which travels on three axes; three cameras for ID mark verification, robotic alignment, and in tape presence inspection; tape and reel input and output; and a customer specific test site dock with easy changeover.

Exatron's modular "building-block" construction allows for an unmatched level of flexibility and the widest available range of options with virtually no traditional changeover kits required.

The handler also features Exatron's flexible and intuitive Windows-based automation software. Fully enclosed safety covers and a small footprint make the Model 8000-3C ideal for the most demanding production environments.
